Aux Bons Enfants Restaurant CannesTo my grandmother Marie, a strong-minded ‘Mother Courage,’ who, surrounded by her husband Constant and their six children, founded Aux Bons Enfants in 1935.

After Constant’s death in the 1960s, Marie ran the kitchen like a true Chef until 1967. Then, one of her children, Romain, assisted by his wife Josette, expertly managed the restaurant for a half-century until 1998. Today, the third generation has taken over with Luc who oversees the establishment in full respect of the family values and in a bistro spirit. Driven by his love for “old-fashioned” cuisine, he is surrounded by a team constantly alert to ways of pleasing their loyal clientele.
Recipes concocted every day in a convivial spirit of tradition blending flavour, taste and pleasure. Local products in season selected every morning at the nearby Marché Forville, from local producers and quality butcher, fish and cheese shops to prepare cuisine to satisfy the taste buds of the most demanding gourmets.
